The mission of Florida Retail Masters is to broaden participants’ understanding of retailing in Florida, encourage strong leadership skills, develop understanding of Florida’s economic climate and the role retailing plays in Florida’s economy, and create a lifetime network of business associates.

Long concerned about attracting and developing talent for their industry, the Florida Retail Masters (FRM) program, sponsored by the Florida Retail Foundation, was introduced in 2005.

Partnering with FRF since the program’s inception is Catch Your Limit Consulting, a strategic management and marketing firm that coordinates the professional development and leadership components of the curriculum.

The Florida Retail Foundation was founded in 1997. Current Foundation sponsored projects on behalf of the retail industry include the Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday Study and Shoplifting Prevention resources. The Foundation also supports the Retail Learning Network webinar series which features a variety of learning and collaborative opportunities. Included is Pathways to Success, which provides a forum for retail executives to share their knowledge and expertise with young professionals, college students, and others in the retail field to better understand how to be successful in a retail career.
