In recent years, Ron Jon Surf Shop has opened up their doors and graciously hosted Retail Masters. The Ron Jon Surf Shop CEO and Executive Team have shared their unique story and insights as to what makes them successful. In addition, classes have had the opportunity to tour Kennedy Space Center and learn not only about the space program changes that are impacting this region of the state, but their retail operation. As space exploration is a significant icon of the Baby Boomer generation, the visit to Cocoa Beach has aligned nicely with the curriculum focus on understanding Florida’s aging demographics, how to prepare for the “age wave” and impacts on retailing.
